1965 Caravel

Another project we’re working on at Area 63…this was brought in from the beautiful wine country near Napa, CA. It is a very fine 1965 Caravel, and it was originally supposed to get a new rear sub floor. Inspection revealed a healthy floor, so the owner opted to do mechanical and interior upgrades to it. We will be replacing the water heater and furnace, cabinet sides and bottoms that have water damage, updating the electrical with 2 AGM batteries and appropriate wiring and charger, installing a new stereo with antenna, and doing other minor fixes that will make camping with her more enjoyable and simpler.
