Spent several hours today fabricating a counter top from 1/2in maple ply, and it’s support. It is eventually going to be the bathroom counter. More compound curves and uneven radii then I care to mention…
But, the result is a tight fitting cabinet, ready for it’s integrated stainless top and aluminum skin.

The rough cabinet, with it’s countertop. The section to the left will be extending into the shower are. The large opening below will befine tuned for maximum storage space, and will have 2 door for access. We might be abe to fit a small drawer to the left of the proposed sink.
A different angle…remember ist’s just roughed in. The real work begins now..
An edge detail of the right side of the counter. This allows leg room while using the toilet, and a place for toilet paper and perhaps even a small towel bar.
This clearly needs more work, but at least it gives us an idea of the dimension and dynamics of the space.
Today’s tunes: ipod on random song selection.
Today’s temps: low 60’s. Great working weather.
