We played around with veneer for the aluminum framed doors today. Made a little access door for the main galley cabinet just to see what it would look like. Well, here’s what it looks like..

I am very happy with the way the doors turn out. The aluminum frames are excellent, and very strong.
Of course the colors in the picture are rudely misrepresented…even my Nikon doesn’t do it justice. It looks much more saturated in real.
Something tells me that this is going to look great in a group of doors, but not so great when it’s a small door against a large maple panel

Here is a bigger angle. The door is just temporarily sitting there. I could see this with an all maple door also.
